These artistic objects must meet the rigidly applied standards of China National Arts and Crafts before they can be approved for export. The Chrysanthemum Goddess and subsequent plates in The Flower Goddesses of China series have merited the official approval of China National Arts and Crafts and are issued under its official seal. This edition is limited to a period rigidly confined to a maximum of 175 firing days beginning in the year 1991.
The owner bought and stored it back in the early 90s. It had never changed hands since. The plate is in mint condition. It had never been exposed to sunlight.
