Important antique French stone monument known as a “bugadière” salvaged
from a fortified house in Provence in the south of France reputed to have
been built by the Knights Templars in the 12th century.
A rare and exceptional piece, it has a beautiful patina on the Provence stone.
The bugadière is currently being stored in Versailles near to Paris.
The approximate measurements of the bugadière are as follows:
Height: 1.90 metres
Width: 1.50 metres
Depth: 1 metre
Its weight is approximately two tons.
