Fine Watercolour Silhouettes Created by British Artist JEFF GRAY These are all hand painted watercolour silhouettes on a cream background, individually initialed by the artist. The silhouettes are in two categories The First Category These silhouettes consist of head and shoulders. They depict the fashion headdress from periods of English history, for example, the Victorian and Edwardian. Whilst the face is painted matt black, the headdress highlights subtle tones of pink, grey and white, thus beautifully giving the impression of flowers, feathers, ribbons, etc. The Second Category The silhouettes in this category accurately portray the facial features of famous historical people, including musicians, artists, poets and authors, and are all guaranteed individually researched. Here, again, the face is painted matt black; whilst the hair and upper costume is painted in washes of colour, with added, fine detail. Each holds a copy of the historical character’s signature in sepia ink. All the silhouettes would beautifully enhance the decor of any room, recess, library, hallway, study, lounge, music room or bedroom and would make that SPECIAL gift extra special and tasteful These can all be ordered facing left or right.
